The Ogi Porthcawl 10K is an exciting race in the seaside town known for its surf, sports and coastal walks. A summertime hotspot for both locals and visitors – Porthcawl is renowned for shining under the sun.

The race takes place on closed-roads, taking in a number of landmarks and stunning seaside spots including Rest Bay, Trecco Bay, Coney Bay, the picturesque town centre, historic Grand Pavillion and the iconic Porthcawl Lighthouse.

A host of other sporting activities for families and children will also be included in the day’s action – including an electrifying new Family Fun Run, giving budding athletes a chance to take their first footsteps into running.

It’s delivered by Run 4 Wales, the events team behind the Principality Cardiff Half Marathon, ABP Newport Marathon Festival & Run 4 Wales 10K Series. The event forms part of the R4W 10K Series – joined by the ABP Newport 10K, Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay 10K and CDF 10K. A Multi-Buy Offer is available, offering discounted entries for those entering two or more races.

The race will return for 2024 on Sunday 7 July.
