The Healthspan Porthcawl 10K is an exciting race in the seaside town known for its surf, sports and coastal walks. A summertime hotspot for both locals and visitors – Porthcawl is renowned for shining under the sun.

The Healthspan Porthcawl 10K will take place on closed-roads, taking in a number of landmarks and stunning seaside spots including Rest Bay, Trecco Bay, Coney Bay, the picturesque town centre, historic Grand Pavillion and the iconic Porthcawl Lighthouse.

A host of other sporting activities for families and children will also be included in the day’s action – including an electrifying new Family Fun Run, giving budding athletes a chance to take their first footsteps into running.

It’s delivered by Run 4 Wales, the events team behind the Cardiff Half Marathon, Newport Wales Marathon & Healthspan Wales 10K Series. The event forms part of the Run 4 Wales 10K Series and Healthspan 10 Initiative – joined by the ABP Newport Wales 10K, Barry Island 10K and Cardiff Bay Run. Multi-Event Passes are available for discounted entry when entering two or more races.

The 2020 race will take place on Sunday 5th July.
