Entries are now open for the 2027 Porthcawl 10K which will be taking place on Sunday 27 June.

The 2026 event sold out well ahead of race day with more than 6,800 people signing up to take part across the 10K and junior races. With demand continuing to increase, the 2027 event is expected to follow suit, so early registration is encouraged.

A limited number of early bird entries are available for the first 500 people to sign up.

Tŷ Hafan will once again be joining the event as its lead charity and a number of free entries are available to the first runners to register. It will continue to offer discounted entry to runners who pledge to raise £175 for the charity with £5 entries, increasing to £8 in February.

Matt Newman, Chief Executive at Run 4 Wales, said: “We can’t wait to come back to Porthcawl in 2027 to put on our popular 10K event. This year saw our biggest event yet and we’re expecting next year’s to be just as in demand.

“The atmosphere is always fantastic, and we can’t thank our spectators, volunteers, partners and local businesses enough who all come out to support. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the start line in June 2027.”

Alongside Tŷ Hafan charity spaces, general entries are also open into the 2027 Porthcawl 10K. A limited number of early bird entries are available for the first 500 participants to register, offering a saving of £6 – however these are expected to sell out fast. Once these are gone, the price will increase to £35. As in previous years, the R4W 10K Series bundles will go on sale after the Kidney Wales CDF 10K in September, offering runners a saving on entries when taking part in all four 10Ks – the ABP Newport 10K, Barry Island 10K, Porthcawl 10K and CDF 10K.
